Alec Baldwin has “Saturday Night time Reside” star Pete Davidson to thank for his weight-loss transformation.
On Tuesday’s “The Tonight Present Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Davidson, 27, revealed that he unintentionally impressed the 63-year-old actor to get in form.
“I used to be on set and Alec was internet hosting and it was a sketch the place I needed to be shirtless. And, you already know, I assume I’m slightly bit lower or no matter,” Davidson defined. “So he got here as much as me and he was like, ‘What do you do?’ And I didn’t wish to be impolite and say, ‘I simply nonetheless have a metabolism. I’m not in my mid-50s.’ So to make him really feel higher, I stated, ‘Oh man, I do 100 pushups and 100 sit-ups day by day.’”
Quickly after their chat, Baldwin started making common appearances on “SNL,” playing former President Donald Trump.

Baldwin confirmed the story throughout a 2019 look on “The Howard Stern Present.”
“Pete Davidson stated, ‘Do 100 pushups a day, day by day.’ And I do it now,’” the three-time Emmy winner stated. “I do extra. I do like 125, 150. You construct up.”
The actor’s spouse, Hilaria Baldwin, wrote in her 2016 e-book “The Residing Clearly Methodology,” that her husband’s well being scare “was an alarming wake-up name that rocked him to the core.”
